Lake Kegonsa State Park has a designated dog beach area where visitors can bring their furry friends to enjoy the lake. The dog area is located on the south end of the park and can be accessed from the main beach area. The dog beach provides a safe and controlled environment for dogs to swim and play in the lake.

Visitors are reminded to keep their dogs on a leash while walking to the dog area and to clean up after their pets. The dog area is fenced in and includes a separate area for smaller dogs. There are also waste stations and water stations available for dogs to drink from.
